After 17 years service as a Commissioned Officer in the Australian Army, Mark's genuine passion for Indigenous Development and strong affiliation with the bush led to the founding of Remote Area Projects & Training in 2015. With a commanding grasp of high-risk operations and project management in remote environments, Mark's vision and strong work ethic has driven RAPT from a small one-man organisation to a thriving company known for delivering results.

Adam Goodall
Project Manager

From humble beginnings as a ringer in the top-end, through a decade-long career in the Australian Army; Adam has forged a reputation as one of the region's leading trainers and mentors in CAEM disciplines. In addition to stock and feral animal management, Adam is well versed in the operation of all the tools and machinery used in land management and the training and risk mitigation practices required to ensure your projects are completed safely and on time.

Business Development Manager

David has been with RAPT since its inception, lending his 25+ years of business management and development experience within the private sector to help shape RAPT into the successful enterprise it is today. An Army veteran and competent marksman himself, David also holds qualifications in humane destruction and animal trapping; seeing him getting his hands dirty undertaking feral animal management tasks throughout northern Queensland.

Environmental Science

With over 40 years experience in Land Development Engineering and Environmental Science fields, Dave enthusiastically heads up RAPTs team of ecologists. A published author and recipient of the prestigious Whitley Medal, his encyclopedic knowledge of northern Australia's flora and fauna make him indispensable in the development and application of tailored ecosystem management solutions. From insects to plants, let Dave's skills and knowledge drive the success of your CAEM projects.

Peter Seymour
Feral Animal Controller

Peter joined RAPT in 2021 and specialises in feral pig management within sensitive Wet and Dry Tropics ecosystems. A proven marksman with both day and night optics, Peter's ability to achieve results across multiple control methods is a key enabler in generating successful outcomes for RAPT's North Queensland clients.

Joining the company in 2019, Nathan brings his hands-on experience in feral-animal management to ensure that RAPT can achieve its client's needs safely and efficiently on the ground.
